JOB SUMMARY

The Teacher is responsible for providing an educational environment where students have the opportunity to fulfill their learning potential. This person is accountable for implementing an instructional program consistent with the ‘approved’ curriculum of the school that will result in students achieving academic success and personal growth in accordance with the vision, philosophy and policies of HPS School.

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES

• Teaching a required number of periods.
• Class preparation and subsequent marking of class work.
• Working collaboratively with the teaching team in planning, teaching (including parallel teaching), assessing and sharing data for all students in the respective department.
• Assessing student participation, progress and performance.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Education:

• Bachelors’ degree in relevant subject area and teaching qualification.
• This must be acceptable to ministry.
• Experience:
• Suitable experience (in or outside of the UAE).
• IT capabilities: ability to use Microsoft Word, school management information system, Data analysis applications and software.
• An excellent command of English and Arabic.
