Julphar is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in the Middle East and Africa and one of the leading producers of insulin in the world.
The company was established in 1980 under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the late ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and since then Julphar has been delivering high quality, innovative and affordable healthcare solutions to families across the globe.
Our human capital is around 2,500 employees and our product distribution is to more than 50 countries on five continents. Our 16 internationally accredited facilities are in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. In 2012, we became one of the world’s largest producers of insulin with our state-of-the-art UAE-based biotechnology facility.
Our business is centered on three core business units – Julphar Diabetes Solutions, General Medicines and our consumer division, Julphar Life.
