The Public Prosecution Department of Ras Al Khaimah is an integral part of the judicial system of Ras Al Khaimah, and representative of the society. And as a competent judicial authority, it initiates the criminal proceedings, and its directness and its authority in this regard are absolute and not restricted except in certain circumstances specified by law.
The Public Prosecution in Ras Al Khaimah operates in accordance with a system of work that does not stop throughout the day in order to establish the principles of justice and achieve legal protection for all residents in the Emirate.
The Public Prosecution Department of Ras Al Khaimah is a model for the highly developed Government Department. It relies on the latest electronic systems in receiving cases and complaints, and completing criminal investigations, issuing decisions and notification, transfer of cases to the Courts according to different levels and by that it created paperless work environment which contributes in facilitating the work of the Public Prosecutor and the administrative staff on the one hand, and aims to protect the environment and rationalize spending, and preservation of resources in other aspects.
